She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee and Lillie Spaulding Hammond; her husband Orville Johnson Searcy; and her children, Denny Searcy and Debbie Searcy.
She is survived by: her son David Searcy (Kim) of Waddy; her daughter-in-law Wanda Searcy of Waddy; her sister Mary Hazelrigg of Louisville; and her caregiver Shirley Taylor. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one step-grandchild; her five great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
