He is survived by: his mother Wilhelmine Jung Griffitts; his wife Barbara Newton Griffitts; his daughter Amber Coffey; his stepchildren, Shanna Owens of Waco and Ronnie Owens (Doaa) of Richmond; his siblings, Jason Griffitts (Hallie) of Ohio, Teresa Hodgkiss (Paul) of Pennsylvania and Lisa Griffitts of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Riley Owens, Mosa Nimir and Adam Parrigan.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dowell and Martin Funeral Home (365 W Main St, Mt Vernon, KY 40456).
