She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold A. Rice and Katie Tipton Rice; her brother Harold G. Rice; and her great-aunt Lena Alexander. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Childers; her children, Jeffery Fletcher (Candice) of Houston, TX, Minor Childers of Los Angeles, CA and Jolena Moran (Patrick) of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Mary Catherine, Sarah, Austin, Caroline Fletcher of Texas, Alix Childers of Belgium, Jack Childers of California and Keely Moran of Arizona; her brother Donald E. Rice (Sue) of Waco; and her sister-in-law Donna Bogie Rice of Richmond.
