He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Turpin and Nora Hatton Turpin; and his siblings, Henry Turpin, Charles Turpin, Christine Gentry and Eva Schoenrock.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Evans Turpin; his children, Bobby Turpin (Brenda) of Waco, John Brent Turpin of Irvine and Roxanne Abner (Jeff) of Jackson County; his siblings, Eugene Turpin (Charlotte), James Turpin (Betty), Forest Turpin and Katherine Kaylor; his grandchildren, Emma Carson Turpin, Summer Abner and Josh Abner; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Marcum, Brennon Willis, Clayton Combs, Lakenzie Noe and Ava Jane Noe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
