She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Compton and Evelyn Compton (Potter). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Yanke of Castro Valley, CA, Elizabeth Burke of Highlands Ranch, CO and Patrick Yanke (Grete) of Raleigh, NC.; and her brothers, Richard A. Compton (Carla) of Waco, KY and Charles H. Compton (Joanne) of Smithfield, RI.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
