It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Sturgis of Waco, Kentucky, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Sturgis and Nellie Personet Sturgis; his wife Lillie Osborne Sturgis; his children, Patricia Dodd, Sue Brandenburg (Irvine), Ronnie Sturgis, Rick Sturgis (Waco) and Dennis Hatfield; his siblings, Ruby McGee, Paul Sturgis (Pat) and Donnie Sturgis (Mitch); his sisters-in-law, Martha Flynn and Estill Co; and his grandchildren, Jerrica Brandenburg, Jessica Dodd and Jonathan Dodd.
