It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Owens of Waco, Kentucky, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Nelson and Magdaline Wilds Bowman; her husband Paul A Owens; her daughter Darla Lynn Owens; and her siblings, Herel, Lonnie Bowman, Irene Fetcher and Delia Mobley.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Owens of Waco, Dan Owens (Wilma) of Waco, Tim Owens of Richmond, Carla Ann Childers (Tommy) of Waco and Marla Jean Powell (Bobby) of Waco; her grandchildren, Jeremy Powell, Linda Sowers, Aaron Owens, David Owens, Johnny Owens and Devin Powell; and her siblings, Joe Bowman, Flora Ballew and Lavada Gatliff. She is also survived by eight great-granddaughters; one great-grandson.
