He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Minus and Goldie Sowards Wright; his former wife Barbara Sue Wright; his brothers, Gerald Wright, Jerry Wright and Roger Wright; and his granddaughter Amy Lynn Ratliff.
He is survived by: his wife Augustine Coleman Wright; his children, Tommy Wright (Esther) of Dorton, David Mullins of Pikeville, Jennifer Wright of Dorton and Tammy Ratliff of Jenkins; his siblings, Randy Wright of Dorton and Janice Cable of Tenn; and his grandchildren, Tony "Cooter" Wright, Barbara Coleman (Steven), Jenna Johnson, McKenna Johnson, Amber Ratliff and Adam Ratliff (Gina). He is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
