He was predeceased by: his parents, Estil Ted Newsom and Lilie Mae Bryant Newsome; and his sister Mildred Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Esther Casebolt Newsom; his children, Tivis Newsom Jr. (Susan), Tammy Caudill (Ronald) and Teresa Bentley (Ricky); his siblings, Glenda Faye Akers, Clifford, Bobby Gene and Paul Dean Newsom; and his grandchildren, Ronald Douglas Caudill (Chelsea), Wesley Adam Bentley, Esther Renee Poulos (Robert) and Sarah Elizabeth Chapman (Daniel).
