He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hopkins and Alpha Bentley Hopkins; and his sister Joannie Bentley Bartley. He is survived by: his fiancée Denise Blackburn; his daughter Katlyn Hopkins of Kimper; his siblings, Jessica Hopkins Tackett (Joey), Ann Hopkins of Elkhorn City, Melissa Adkins of Georgetown and Calvin Bentley (Courtney) of Frankfort; his grandchild Ellie; his nieces, Hannah Sanders, Jessalan Perry, Payton Tackett Newcomb (Sam), Kyle Taylor (Mykenzi), Keyla Taylor (Michael), Kane Taylor (Madi), Kenleigh Taylor, Thacker, Pyper Thacker and Blakely Potter; and also, Wendy, Rosie, Alf and Garfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover his funeral costs.
