He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Tackett and Martha Jo Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lewis Tackett; his daughters, Brandy Kinney (BJ) of Virgie and Amanda Tackett of Ohio; his siblings, Rodney Tackett (Lavonne) of Virgie, Ronald Tackett (Joetta) of Virgie, Rickey Tackett (Molly) of Pikeville, Robbie Tackett (Cindy) of Virgie, Kevin Tackett (Lisa) of Virgie, Kyle Tackett of Virgie and Sharon Barr of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Alex Kinney (Aliah) and Emma Kinney.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Longfork Freewill Baptist Church (4908 Longfork Rd, Virgie, KY 41572-8824). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Long Fork Free Will Baptist Church.
