Oma Wright Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oma Wright (Virgie, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Bentley and Virgie Little Bentley; her husband George "Junior" Wright; and her siblings, Ryley Bentley, Joe Bentley, Odie Bentley, Nannie Tackett, Sarah Tackett, Jessie White, Alora Mullins and Wanda Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Elkins (Gary), Gary "Johnnie" Wright (Thelya), Delmon Wright, Elmon Wright (Misty) and Kenny Wright (Lois); and her siblings, Teddy Bentley (Ruby), Ella Little and Betty Stewart.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
