He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hampton and Metomah Burke Hampton; and his sisters, Imolene Hampton and Inarene Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Kelly Hampton of Bucyrus, OH and Steven Hampton (Mary) of Wenatchee, WA; his brother Lonnie Dale "Dumpy" Hampton of Virgie; his grandchildren, Jaron Hampton, Josh Castro and Crystiana Setnor; and his great grandchildren, Josef, Alliah, Cortana, Marcus and Bentley.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
