She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassel Hampton and Dessie F. Johnson Hampton; her husband Edgar Hampton; her son-in-law Rickey Elswick; her siblings, Robert Hampton, Ruby Dike (Richard) and Pauline Tackett (Clell); and her pet Hugo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Elswick of Virgie and Lana Hall of Virgie; her brother Leo Hampton (Sue) of Oscoda, MI; her granddaughter Angel McCoy (James) of Virgie; her sister-in-law Jackie Hampton; and her pet Bella.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
