He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl MableTackett and Sarah MableTackett; his son Anthony Tackett; and his siblings, Jimmy Tackett, Jerry Tackett and Linda Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Tackett; his children, Justin Tackett (Breanna) of Virgie and Amanda Elswick (Adam) of Shelbiana; his siblings, Clement Tackett (Esta) of Pikeville, Brenda Conway (Clyde), Trula Wright (Jody) of Louisa, Vonda Moore (Eddie Paul) of Virgie and Shelby Tackett of Pikeville; and his grandchildren, Maggie Tackett, Emilyn Tackett, Ashton Elswick and Ayden Elswick.
