She was predeceased by: her parents, King Solomon Wright and Mary Elizabeth Brown Wright; her husband Leon Tackett; her siblings, Cyril Wright, Jessie Wright, Grant Wright, Paul Wright, Ken Wright, Lorraine Burke, Intha Burke and Anna Sue Carey; and her grandson Travis Tackett.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Tackett (Lavonne) of Virgie, Ronald Tackett (Joetta) of Virgie, Rickey Tackett (Molly) of Virgie, Reggie Tackett (Cynthia) of Virgie, Robbie Tackett (Cindy) of Virgie, Kevin Tackett (Lisa) of Virgie and Kyle Tackett of Virgie. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
