She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer McCoy and Lettie Johnson McCoy; her husband Thomas Scott; her daughter Vanessa Mullins; her siblings, Darrell McCoy and Patty White; and her grandchildren, Brandie Scott and Christian Kouns.
She is survived by: her children, David Scott (Linda) of Pikeville, Thomas Scott, Robert Scott of Pikeville, Greg Ray (Julia) of Pikeville, Mona Newsome (Avery) of Caney Creek, Lisa Damron (Teddy) of Albion, MI and Teresa Neace (Melvin) of Florence; and her siblings, Leon McCoy of Virgie, Jerry Burchett of Ohio and Vonda Mullins of Pikeville. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
