It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LouVern Ray (Virgie, Kentucky), who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Russell Tackett; her husband Alton D. Ray; and her siblings, Darrell Tackett, Harold Dean "Snag" Tackett, Sheila Kay "Sissy" Tackett and Ruth Ann Eversole.
She is survived by: her brothers, Sylvan Tackett of Caney, Ronnie Tackett of Bean Station, TN, Anthony Tony Tackett of Poorbottom and Teddy Ray Tackett of Caney; and her grandchildren, Justin Ray Caudill, Kristen Ray, Jonathan Ray, Victoria Hill (Chris), Taylor Keathley, Maggie Lou Johnson, Jane and Conner. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
