He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin P. Hunt and Betty Jane Paynter Hunt; and his brothers, Johnny Mac Hunt, Kenneth Ray Hunt and Harold Gene Hunt.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Hunt of Pikeville, Mary Ellen Garrett of Salisbury, NC and Wanda Sue Hunt of Feds Creek.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
