He is survived by: his sons, Tracy Tackett of Virgie and Brian Tackett (Holly) of Campbellsville; his granddaughter Carli Lane Tackett of Campbellsville; and his brothers, Benny Tackett and Jackie Tackett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
