It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Bartley (Virgie, Kentucky), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ray and Lena Ray (Maynard); her husband AJ Bartley; her son Barry Bartley; and her siblings, Roy Ray, Eddie Ray, Annie York, Shirley Williams, Mable Akers, Josephine Gross, Rosie Hall and Wilma Smith.
She is survived by: her children, James Bartley (Tammy), Anita Standifer and Jerri Lynn Potter; and her siblings, Walter Ray Jr., Andy Ray, Billie Sue Meade, Jacqueline Stanley and Linda Huffman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
