He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis (Bill) and Viola Lewis of Long Fork, Virgie.; and his sister Sissy Damron. He is survived by: his wife Janice Lewis; his children, Jesse Brandon Lewis (Jennifer) of Long Fork and Misty Perry (Matt) of Chapmanville; his grandsons, Jesse Brayden Lewis of Penny Highway and Jacob Blackburn of Millard; his siblings, Brenda Mitchell (James) of Macon, GA, Cynthia Tackett (Reggie) of Long Fork and Wendell Lewis (Karen) of Pikeville; and his brother-in-law Bennie Damron of Long Fork.
