He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Worrix and Hazel Little Worrix; his son Nathan Worrix; and his siblings, Edgar Eugene Worrix, Earl Clyde Worrix, Charles Edward Worrix, Tracy Worrix, Johnny Worrix, Virginia Cook, Judy Worrix, Sandra Looney and Sammie Daughtery.
He is survived by: his wife Maretta Taylor Worrix; his son James Patrick "Anky" Worrix of Pikeville; and his siblings, Kenneth Worrix of Elkhorn Creek, Pauletta Keathley of Toler Creek and Sharon Sawyers of Grapevine. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
