He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Roberts; his children, Stanley Eugene Roberts, Lawrence Roberts and Gwendolyn Meade; his brothers, Willie Roberts, Bennie Roberts, Reed Roberts, Arlin Roberts and Arnold Roberts; and his granddaughter Gwendolyn.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Francis Roberts; his stepson Coby Fleming of Morgantown; his siblings, Joe Roberts of Robinson Creek, Cecil Roberts of Floyd County and Fretia Roberts; and his grandsons, Franklin, Kevin and Jeremy. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
