She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Damron and Cinda Newsome Damron; her husband Roy Tackett; her sons, Ronald Tackett, James Tackett and Randall Tackett; her brothers, John Henry Damron and Farlan Damron; and her grandson Bobby McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Garris Tackett (Lucinda) of Little Creek, Barbara Nelson (Tommy) of Dwale, Vanessa Coleman (Buddy) of Indian Creek and Teressa DiFesi (Joseph) of Little Robinson; and her siblings, Moody Damron of Indiana, Harless Damron of Indiana, Laura Webb of Indiana, Mary Smartt of Tennessee and Berniece Thacker of Tennessee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
