She was predeceased by: her parents, James Epperson Tackett and Liza Jane Tackett; her husband Randall F. Dials; her daughters, Sharon Kay Morris and Jannie Dials; and her siblings, Everett Tackett, Russell Tackett, Estill Tackett, Clyde Tackett, Ben Tackett, Reo Johns, J. E. Tackett, Bob Tackett, Irene Glimpse, Patty Little and Reba Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Randall Dials (Melanie) of Pikeville, Randall Eugene Dials (Rita) of Fleming County, Rebecca Ann Newsome (Anthony) of Virgie and Randa Sue Harmon of Virgie; and her siblings, Franklin A. Tackett of Long Fork and Jackie Hampton of Long Fork. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
