He was predeceased by: his parent Zallie Shell, Jr.; his brothers, Bobby Ray Shell and Jeff Shell; and his girlfriend Carol Adkins. He is survived by: his mother Valma Shell of Viper; his sons, Joshua Shell (Megan) and Dustin Shell (Kelli Turner); his siblings, John Shell, Teresa Hilton (Jeff) and Jackie Fletcher (James "Bones"); his sisters-in-law, Darlene Shell and Sherry Shell; his close friends, Dennis Osborne and Tom Reed; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Oliver, Kylin, Angeline and Emma.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701).
