She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Slone and Nora Smith Slone; and her brother Charles Edward Slone Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Larry Engle; her children, Jenefer Burgett (Shadell) and Larry Engle Jr.; her grandchildren, Whitney Smith (Phillip), Ellen Burgett (Shawn), Shadell Burgett Jr. (Karli), Brayden Engle, Pyper, Zaydea Engle, Lincoln Engle and Liam Engle; her great grandchildren, Sienna Engle, Paisley Smith, Adalynn Smith, Myles Burgett and Wylder Burgett; and her sisters, Cora Watts and Corine Burgett (Carl Edward).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
