She was predeceased by: her parents, Don and Marilyn; and her daughter Jennifer Prince. She is survived by: her husband David Shufelt; her brothers, Gary Campbell (Diane) of Virginia, Ronnie Campbell of Bagdad, KY and Jeffery Campbell (Kathy) of Jacksonville Florida; her son Brandon Shufelt (Brooke) of Radcliff; her grandchildren, Richard Shufelt (Katherine) of Vine Grove, Jillian Shufelt of Sarasota Florida, Andrew Shufelt (Marrisa) of Radcliff, Anthony Foote (Rachel) of Radcliff and Suzanne Keller of Elizabethtown; and her great grandchildren, Cruze and Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
She received national recognition for the Christa Mcauliffe Scholarship Foundation for her research in "Learning styles across the curriculum".
