She was predeceased by: her daughter Denise Murray Higdon; and her parents, Dewey Caudill and Ada Caudill. She is survived by: her children, Ruby, David Murray (Ronda), Frank Murray (Heather), Walter Murray (Brenda) and Dewey Murray (Triana); and her siblings, Verma Williams, John David Caudill, Henry "Hank" Caudill and Sue Chandler. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
