She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thomas, Sr. and Laura Lee Ditto (Washington); her sons, Gilbert Mills, Sr. and Lewis Porter Taylor; her granddaughter Alicia Mills; and her siblings, Frank Ditto, Edna Earl Alexander, Bessie Lee Valentine and Minnie Ruff.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Lewis Taylor; her children, Milton Mills (Saundra), Cathrine Fletcher, Charlie Mills (Tracee), Lauratta Allen (Paul), Howard "Andy" Mills, Paula K. Mills, Tommy Mills (Elke) and Georgia Taylor; her grandchildren, Kendra, Rachel, Thomas, Felicia, Curtis, John T., Trena, Regina, Bradley, Dontae "Tae Tae", Tommy, Jr., Justin, Gilbert, Jr., Jessica, Kwensi, Amber and Tristin; her siblings, Richard T. "Ike" Ditto, Jr. and Shirley Ann Stone; and her nephew Charles "Chucky" Valentine. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
