He is survived by: his wife Marisa Lee Botto Kappel; his children, Michelle Rainer (Nick), Hannah Miller-Parrish (William), Shelley Loveall (Tracy) and Shannon Saltsman (Kenneth); his brother Paul Kappel (Gail); and his grandchildren, Karsen, Rheagan, Amelia, Peyton, Zoe, Carson and Daniel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trowbridge Funeral Home - Lebanon Junction (118 E Oak St, Lebanon Junction, KY 40150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Driven Church (100 Hobson Wy, Elizabethtown, KY 42701).
