He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Helen Gibbs (Stanley); and his siblings, Douglas Gibbs, Darrell Gibbs, Lesley Gibbs, Gary Gibbs, Wesley Gibbs, Helena Gardner, Nancy Neal, Gwen Martin and Luanna Hussell.
He is survived by: his wife Sieghilde Gibbs; his sons, Michael H. Belle, Harold W. Gibbs (Jennifer) and Kenneth Gibbs (Shannon); and his siblings, Harley Gibbs and Regina Gibbs. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
