She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Furrey and Velma Furrey; and her brothers, Earl Furrey, John Furrey, Harley Furrey and Floyd Furrey.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest Staton; her son Edward Staton; her daughter-in-law Hope Philpott; and her brother Charles Furrey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
