With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Burgess of Vine Grove, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerda Lorene Goins Carwile and Charles Verda Carwile; her children, James Louis Dupin and Jennifer Marie Richard; her siblings, Cari Lene Carwile, Charles Albert Carwile, Louis Franklin Carwile and Charlie Gene Carwile; her grandson Cameron Dupin; her great grandchild Jolondyn Wiley; and her son-in-law Ronald Shawn Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Robby Lee Dupin (Doris) of Vine Grove and Susan Lewis (Bruce) of Irvington; her daughter-in-law Dena Dupin; her husband Brian Burgess; and her siblings, Darlene Crowe (Danny), William Albert Carwile, Denver Lynn Ammons (Brandy) and Michael Cleveland Carwile. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring St, Irvington, KY 40146). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
