He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank LeClear and Berenice LeClear; his brother Arlo LeClear (Betty); and his granddaughter Aubrey LeClear. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth LeClear; his children, Janet Kanter (Bryan) of Villa Hills and Kirk LeClear (Angela) of Corpus Christie, TX; his grandchildren, Lauren Fotsch (Ben), Megan, Rachel Kanter, Austin and Hannah LeClear; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Cooper Fotsch; and his niece Sherri King (Kevin).
