She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon R. Gerding; her children, Sue Gunkel, Geoffrey and Paul "Jimmy" Gerding; and her sisters, Jodell Wieck and Wilma Baumgartner.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ruff (Mike), Carol Pulsfort (Ron), Joan Schwartz (Rick), Louis (Marlene), Larry (late Daria), Tony, Ray (Sue) and Ken Gerding (Chrissy); and her daughter-in-law Corinda Gerding. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
