He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Sumner and Hazel Sumner; and his siblings, Lee Cody, Ann Sumner, Persie Sumner, Wayne Sumner, Eli Jr. Sumner, John Sumner and Esom Sumner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sumner of Vicco; his children, Jamie Sumner (Rebecca) and Penny Frost (Tony); his siblings, Coby Dean Sumner of Indiana, Danny Sumner of Indiana and Mary Pence of Indiana; his granddaughters, Jessica Frost, Stephanie Frost and Brianna Sumner; and his great grandchildren, Carson Hicks, Ivyana Zuber and Adaleigh Kinzer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
