He was predeceased by: his father Silas Sloan; his son Ronnie Sloan; his wife Mary Watts Slone; and his siblings, Carl Junior Sloan and Edith Mae Sloan.
He is survived by: his parent Marcella Greene; his daughters, Heather Sizemore (Jerry) of Hazard and Angela Slone (Jerry Cornett) of Hazard; and his grandchildren, Hannah Sizemore, Jimmy D. Sizemore, Teresa Slone, Haley Sizemore, Emmual Sizemore and Jace Sizemore.
