David Ray Sumner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 62, David Ray Sumner of Vicco, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sumner and Julie Marie Sturgill Sumner; and his siblings, Ronnie Sumner, Alice Beverly and Patsy Beverly.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Sumner; his children, Ashley Dawn Sumner of Vicco, KY, Daniel Ray Sumner (Heather) of Vicco, KY and Roger Scott Sumner (Michelle) of Vicco, KY; his sister Rosa Turner (Walter) of Viper, KY; and his grandchildren, Mason, Jaxon, Isla, Draven and Delta.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Happy Freewill Baptist Church (221 Happy Cir, Happy, KY 41746). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
