He is survived by: his wife Elva Scales; his children, Linda (Mike), David and Peggy; his grandchildren, Lynn (Amber), Calebe (Lauren), Hank, Susie (Noah), Katy (Ryan), Mike and Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Helen, William, Sophia, Elan, Colt, McKenna and Avery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
