He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Lynn McMurray (Michael Alan) of Burnet, TX; and his grandsons, James Stuart McMurray (Angela) of Austin, TX and Gene Douglas McMurray (Angela) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
