He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Scott Dawson; and his parents, Louise Nevins and John William Dawson. He is survived by: his children, Donna Whitehouse (Terry), Scott Dawson (Rhonda) and Debra Harris (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Adam Whitehouse (Shae), Andrew Dale (Jami), Rachel Creager (Pat), Matthew Whitehouse (Kandice), Rebekah Dale, Mark Dawson and Benjamin Dawson. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
