He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Cartwright and Harold Eugene Petterson, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lynn Parker (Dan), Paula Sue Horn (Letcher), Harold E. Peterson (late Patsy), Edwin M. Peterson (Judy) and Shelby Kilkelly (Logan); his nieces and nephews, Parker Lynn, Logan Dale Kilkelly, Jr. and Lauren Zirnheld; his niece Eva Peterson; his great-niece Madeline; his great-nephew Dwight Greer; his nephew Matthew Milligan; and also, Nyia Lynne Gibbs and Ashley Milligan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
