He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Ammon; his parents, Arthur Ammon and Viola Hawk Ammon; his daughter Patty Ammon; and his brothers, Paul Ammon and Richard "Dick" Ammon.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Prewitt and Tom (Gary Lawson); his brother Jack Ammon; his grandchildren, Amy Owens, Clifton Prewitt, Ryan Yocum and Ian Yocum; his great grandchildren, Kayla Owens Young, Lincoln Owens, Brinkley Prewitt and Elle Prewitt; and his great great grandchild River Jade Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvisa Baptist Church.
