He is survived by: his father Carlton Mayes of Mackville; his wife Felicia Goodrich Mayes; his daughters, Laura Mayes Branson of Lancaster and Ashley Robinson Darland (Eric) of Frankfort; his siblings, Sally Miller of Mt Sterling and Billy Mayes of Harrodsburg; his grandchildren, Landon Cornelius, Haydon Darland, Ellie Darland and Adasyn Cornelius; his niece Oliva Grace Miller; and his nephews, Grant Goodrich (Ashley), Kyle Goodrich and Chad Goodrich.
