She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Floyd Appling of Versailles; and her son Douglas T. Appling. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda S. Hasty (Roger D.), Marla L. Appling (Joe Lynch) and Paula J. Roberts (Jim); and her siblings, Sue Risner, Frances Wilson, Linda Witt, Brenda Gail Ballard, Ella Mae Ingram, Ottis Walters, Stephen Walters and Ricky Walters. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
