He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Mae Todd and Obie Lee Barber Sr.; his son Michael Eugene Barber, II; and his nephew Zachary Todd Cunningham. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michael Eugene "Trey" Barber, III and Samantha Barber; his wife Jane Barber; his siblings, Obie Lee Barber Jr. (Margaret) and June Sharon Barber; his nephew Brian Joseph Barber; his grandfather Mike; and also Melissa Barber.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home to offset the cost of the funeral.
