He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Daisy Redmon Egbert; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Egbert, Marvin Egbert, Robert "Bob" Egbert and Peggy Slatten.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Egbert Kent (Stephen) of Frankfort and Carlene Egbert of Frankfort; his granddaughter Lyndi Egbert Gibson (Jacob); his great grandchild Charlie Jane Gibson; and his brother Granville Egbert (Alma) of Versailles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
