He was predeceased by: his parents, George Butts and Betty Ventura. He is survived by: his grandson Finn; his wife Sharon Flynn Butts; his children, Mehgan Hoover of Versailles, Emily Hoover of Lexington and Zachary Hoover of Frankfort; his sister Melinda Ventura of Massachusetts; his sisters-in-law, Angie Flynn of Versailles and Carole Flynn of Owensboro; his brothers, Michael Butts (Donna) of Massachusetts, Tom Butts (Andrea) of New Mexico and Tim Butts (Christine) of New Hampshire; his brother-in-law Wayne Flynn of Versailles; and his grandchild Archer.
